Membership

The congregation has a membership of over 300, with over 30 baptized children and more than 30 youth on our rolls. Our members come from all walks of life and backgrounds. All of the "ages and stages" are represented. In some cases, we have four generations of church members from a single family! A monthly newsletter and a church telephone directory keep us in touch with church activities and one another. Extra copies of the newsletter are in the narthex.

If you have received Christian Baptism, the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) honors that baptism. If you (or your children) have not been baptized, the Sacrament of Baptism is administered when you join. Among other responsibilities, a faithful member commits to: share the good news of the Gospel, live a Christian life, read Scripture and pray, participate actively in the life of the church, and seek to do God's work in the world.

Process for joining the church:

1. Notify the Pastor of your desire to join.
2. Attend the three-week "New Member Class" which the Pastor teaches (either before or after you join)
3. Meet briefly with the Church Session to be received into membership (usually conducted quarterly)
4. Be introduced to the congregation in worship and publicly profess your faith in Jesus Christ.
