Deacons
The Deacons meet the 2nd Sunday of each month (excluding July and
August) at 6:15pm in the Adult Sunday School Room.
The Board of Deacons is one of sympathy, witness and service after the
example of Jesus Christ. It is the duty of Deacons, first of all, to
minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the friendless and any
others in distress. Any other duties as may be delegated to them from time
to time by the Session.
The Prayer List
A "Prayer List" is maintained by the Deacons to allow us to
pray for those with special needs. Please keep the Pastor informed of both
your joys and concerns: hospitalizations, deaths, births and marriages,
etc. By caring for others as God cares for us, we pray that the bonds of
Christian love will be strengthened here.
